The Road to the Playoffs -- 4 weeks to go!

Remember that the playoff field is expanded to 7 teams this year.
The division winners are seeded 1 to 4 and the wild cards are seeded 5 to 7.
Even though a wild card may have a better record than the winner of another
division, the division winner is seeded higher.  The #1 seed is the only team
that gets a bye in the first round of the playoffs.

We also made a rule change to guarantee that the scoring champion gets in.
If the scoring champ is not one of 7 playoff teams, then the lowest wild card
gets dropped and the scoring champ gets the #5 seed (the other two wild cards
move down a notch).

In case of a tie between two or more teams, the following order of tiebreakers
is used to determine the playoff seedings:

  1.  Head-to-head (H2H) record between teams during regular season
  2.  Division record (only for teams in the same division)
  3.  Total points scored
